Twenty-some years ago, everybody thought social media was just a gimmick for kids. Trillions of dollars, billions of engaged followers, legions of content creators, influencers galore, and enough fake news to cause the public to lose trust in their public institutions later - and social media has proven as valuable as it is harmful. Also, that it isn't going anywhere!
